or i guess you could call it autumn…
(although i’m not sure the last time i called it that)
you see…in arkansas fall means
less humidity (praise the lord!)
cooler temperatures
football games
thanksgiving
the grass quits growing so i don’t have to mow it
and most of all…the trees change colors
the tree in our front yard is beginning to turn so i decided to take a couple of shots (i’m usually not a fan of “nature” shots but i like the colors in these)

what’s your favorite season?
why?
(i have a new header!…i found it was appropriate for the season)
so for the past three years (hence vol. iii) we’ve had a halloween party for all of our friends at my grandparents old house. if you can imagine everything you did as a kid at a halloween party…we tried to do…(exception: hay ride…no tractor)…costume contest, bobbing for apples, pumpkin carving…
i must say…over the past three years the costumes have really become quite good…and so have the pumpkin carvings…
my wife suggested that i put everyones picture up that dressed up and let you guys choose who had the best costume…so…here they are…
(if you put your mouse pointer on the picture the description of their costume should pop up)

and here are the sweet pumpkins a few people carved…
which one is your favorite?

we had a blast last night!…and i’m glad everyone could make it…

is a very very very fine house…
(well we’re proud of it anyway)
so not only did we make one of the biggest decisions in our lives a couple of weeks ago…but about three weeks before that…we also made the biggest purchase of our lives (till date anyway)…
we bought a house!
(how cool!…we get to live in a house to start out our marriage!)
once we closed on the house…we moved kim in so she could work her magic and make the place look like a home…(women are good at that…kim…she’s real good at making a place look good)
the house is exactly what we had been looking for too…we wanted an older home (built in 1950) cause we like the character and style…we wanted it close to downtown (4.5 miles from downtown)…and we wanted a good deal (i’m not going to tell you how much but it was a great deal)…
the lord is good…
we’ve been blessed beyond what we could/can imagine…
(thankyou)
here are some quick shots of our small little home…

front (we want to change the flower stuff in the front)

living room

kitchen/dining

bedroom

screened in deck…this is nice…

and so is this…there’s another deck outside the screened in deck…and that’s my grill i got from my groomsmen…(don’t be jealous)

this is the backyard…sorry the shadows are so harsh…hopefully you can still see the yard ok…
and there you have it…well we do have another bedroom (but it isn’t set up yet) a bathroom and laundry room…but i didn’t take pictures of them…sorry…but you get the idea…
if you’re ever in the area…come by…
(i think i’ve updated my life now…so my next post will hopefully have some real substance to it…)
