at epoch, we’ve been blessed to have some amazing people come through the church. since we are a new church and we focus our ministry downtown, we tend to attract people who have the same heart…a heart to start something in a place where there is a big need.
and since these people are daring enough to venture into a small church in the middle of downtown little rock, it’s no surprise when they pick up their family and head overseas to follow a call only the lord could give them…(we like to call this a bitter sweet event…we don’t want them to leave…but we’re excited at the same time)
we have a great family who will be leaving in a few weeks to just that. they’ve challenged us as a church and blessed us with their encouragement, boldness, and wisdom. here is a picture of them…

and this is a picture of my nephew, jaelun at his last basketball game. at least that’s what they told me they were playing. they’re 4 and 5 so they basically just ran around and gave the ball back and forth to each other until someone from the other team took it from them. (usually they just handed the other team the ball…i guess they are learning how to share…ha)
